After more than 6 months of planning the tour behind the scenes, we are excited to finally spread the news. Yes, believe it! Sue Thomas is coming to South Africa!! If you think this is good news, then wait till you read Sue’s letter… The news we’ve been waiting for, finally came!

To All My Friends In South Africa,
I send you warm greetings and a very special thank you for you have made it possible for Sue Thomas: F.B. Eye to become a very popular TV series. I am so grateful to you for the tremendous support that you have shown through watching the show.

August is a very exciting month as the cast will return to filming new episodes of the show - I cannot tell you when South Africa will receive the new episodes only that the filming will begin in August... but even more I am excited about my trip to visit all of you in South Africa!!! It has been a life long dream to come to your beautiful country... as a profoundly deaf woman my eyes have been so important to me not only to communicate but to see all the beauty that life holds. My brother, Paul, has been to your country numerous times and is so thrilled that I will finally visit and see the beauty that he has grown to love. I hope to meet as many of you as possible during the month of August when I am on the Sue Thomas Tour of South Africa - I am so very, very excited about my coming!

Please watch this web site for further news of my coming... if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask - I will try to answer as many questions regarding this upcoming tour to visit with you. Yes, my hearing dog, Katie, will be travelling with me along with my personal assistant, Deborah, whom I love to tease and have nicknamed her, "Thumbs"... she is a tremendous help to me in all of my travels... we have been to Germany, Holland, Japan and now finally coming to South Africa!!!
We look forward to our arrival in August and can't wait to meet you and to personally thank you for your support.

When I spoke to Deidre just now, she said that Sue announced in the letter (wich can be found on the website) that the cast will be filming new episodes in August, but the Johnson brothers says that there are definitely plans to continue the show, but filming might not start in August (as it was planned originally) but maybe at a later date. All we can do is wait!
